  • 1/2 box frozen spinach (i use it

  • 1 c macaroni shells, measured
  • 1 lg potato, diced
  • 1 qt chicken broth (i use canned)
  • 2 ts salt
  • 1 tb dry parsley
  • 1 1/2 c minced ham or chicken
  • 1 cn (16 oz) domatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 c onions chopped

Combine in crock pot and cook all day all except the macaroni. About 45 minutes before serving, add macaroni. Sprinkle with mozarella cheese before serving. ***This is one of our favorite soups. Its thick, like a stew. You can use either fresh chicken or cooked chicken. Its better if fresh chicken is used. I usually chop up a couple of boneless/skinless pieces to use.
