These are really pan cakes and extra thick! From my step dad and extra famous. If you like them thinner add more milk:)

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1or 2 tablespoon baking powder use 2 for really thick!
  • smidge salt
  • 1 teaspoon oil i use canola
  • few drops vanilla extract to taste, or maple extract

Use your big bowls to mix this in! Mix dry ingredients together. Beat egg in another bowl. Add wet ingredients to egg and beat until bubbly and foamy. Add wet to dry and combine. Cook on hot griddle until bubbles form in the middle of cake, flip Enjoy cakes with maple syrup of course! Or homemade peach syrup. With love.
