Beat Egg yolks well. Then, add a little milk then, cornstarch mixed well with sugar and salt; then add rest of milk. Cook in Double boiler over low heat stirring often to keep from forming lumps. It is done when mixture coats a spoon. (This means the whole spoon looks like it is covered nicely) Cool a little, then add vanilla, Cool overnight and pour into little glasses and top with whipped cream and then sprinkle on nutmeg for those that like it)
