This was my sisters broccoli recipe and I modified it by substituting some of her ingredients with some of my favorite things.

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 3/4 cup dates chopped
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 2 bunches broccoli broken into small pieces
  • 1/2 head cauliflower broken into small pieces
  • 1 cup pecans toasted and chopped
  • 1/4 cup bacon fried crisp and broken into small pieces
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Mix first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. In small bowl mix Mayo, vinegar and sugar until blended well. Pour over other ingredients and mix well. Add bacon just before serving.
