  • place in blender:
  • 4 cups of pure water
  • 2 large handfuls of organic baby spinach (approximately 4
  • 3 large organic romaine or 3 -4 large curly kale leaves ( or collard greens (stems removed)
  • 1 1/2 frozen bananas
  • 1 large piece of fruit (1 peach nectarine, mango, 6-8 strawberries, 1 cup pineapple, or whatever organic fruit you enjoy or have on hand.)
  • in the winter:
  • i use 1 heaping cup of frozen fruit
  • optional (1 tablespoon chia seeds)
  • optional (2 tablespoons flax seed oil)
  • optional (2 tablespoons hemp seed)
  • optional (1 tablespoon maca powder)

Place all ingredients in a good blender and puree until smooth and creamy. Add more or less of any of the ingredients to adjust to your taste. Smoothies are best if consumed the same day, but will be good for 1-2 days if you choose to save some to drink later.
