This is a simple way to make coleslaw - and I like the taste better. I'm not a big fan of mayo or Miracle Whip.

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 bag angel hair coleslaw
  • 1 cup granny smith apple cut in small pieces
  • 1/2 cup craisins (and/or golden raisins)
  • 1 8 oz container light sour cream
  • 3 t sugar add 1 t at a time and taste

1. Mix coleslaw, apples, Craisins, pecans in a large bowl 2. Combine sour cream, oil, and sugar. 3 Add to coleslaw mix and toss 4. Cover and chill for at least 2 hrs. (Toss apple pieces with lemon juice before adding to coleslaw.)
