  • 20 oz can chunk pineapple in its own juice undrained
  • 11 oz can mandarin orange segments undrained
  • 2 or 3 bananas
  • 2 cups halved strawberries i use a little more
  • 1 1/2 cups halved green grapes
  • 3 1/2 oz pkg instant vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 to 1 cup pecan halves

*Drain chunk pineapple and orange segments, reserving liquid in small bowl *In large bowl, combine fruits *Sprinkle pudding mix into reserved pineapple/mandarin orange liquid; mix until combined and slightly thickened *Fold into fruit until well combined * *Garnish with pecan halves TIPS: Can make ahead of time (like the night before) BUT, DO NOT add the pudding mix – just mix it up and refrigerate. Before adding the pudding, drain your bowl of fruit really well again, it seeps a lot of juice as it sits. Add bananas just before serving…they get mushy if they sit overnight with the rest of the fruit Add blueberries just before serving and do not mix up too harshly they will turn everything blue! You can increase (or double) fruit amounts for a really large bowl, but you still only need one box of pudding mixed with the juice from one can of oranges and one can of chunk pineapple
