Great summer time salad with raisin and sunflower seeds.

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 2 heads broccoli florets up to 3 heads, cut short and small
  • 1/2 lb bacon crisp & drained (i use hormel in jar)
  • 1 small red onion diced small
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

1. Cut up broccoli into bite size pieces and place in large bowl. Add Bacon, raisins, sunflower, onion to mixture. In separate bowl, mix Mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Add Mayonnaise sauce to vegetable mixture and toss until sauce is all over vegetable. Store in a breathable container in refrigerator for 12 hours or more
