My BFF of over 40 years prepared this while I was visiting her this summer. It's a wonderful, refreshing salad that takes advantage of freshed picked summer tomatoes and home grown basil.

Slice the tomatoes in 1/4 inch slices. Layer on top the cucumber, scallions, basil, avocado and feta cheese.
Sprinkle with garlic powder, red wine vinegar and olive oil.
