Many different ways to make this one, but this is my family's favorite. I don't usually measure this, so you can adjust to your own taste.

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 small red onion chopped fine
  • 1 bunch broccoli washed and chopped
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and chopped fine

Start with the dressing ingredients - sugar, mayonnaise and vinegar. Mix together in a small bowl and let sit. In a salad bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, onion, bacon, and raisins. Pour the dressing over the salad and stir in. Put in fridge to chill until ready to serve. Best if it chills before eating and we love it the next day!
