  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/4 cup catalina salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup ground beef i use 97% lean ground beef. you could use ground turkey.
  • 1/4 cup salsa (if you aren't a salsa fan you can use low cal catalina or french)
  • 1/2 cup mixed greens i prefer a baby lettuce mix
  • 1/4 cup tomatoes i like grape or roma tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons shredded cheese low fat mexican blend
  • 1/4 cup tortilla strips

1) Cook the meat using the instructions on the taco seasoning packet. Refrigerate right away. You want it cold before you stack your salad. 2) 3) Slice/dice the tomatoes 4) Layer as follows: - Salad Dressing - Salsa - Tomatoes - Taco meat - Cheese - Lettuces When you are ready to eat, turn the jar upside down and shake to distribute the salsa. Then pour into a bowl and add the tortilla strips.
