With the cold season approaching, or in times of illness or stress, our body needs Vitamin C to strengthen the immune system. Vitamin C protects our cells from damage, produces collagen (a protein to help heal wounds) and improves iron absorption. As a mom, I am always looking to make breakfast healthier. One powerful yet simple way is to make your own orange juice and enhance it with even more natural foods . Store bought juices are often laden with sugar, preservatives, chemicals and artificial colors – making them not a healthy choice. This Juice is easy to prepare and you don’t need a fancy orange press, only a blender.
