My favorite way to cook the bacon is in the oven. Preheat your oven to 375-degrees. Arrange the bacon on a rimmed baking sheet with parchmnet paper underneath. Bake until the bacon is crispy — approximately 15-20 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-line plate to drain. Let cook and then cut into small sections with kitchen shears.Make the croutons.Make the ranch dressing. Whisk together the buttermilk, mayo, vinegar, green onions and season with salt and pepper.Add lettuce and tomatoes — toss to coat with the ranch dressing. Sprinkle croutons and bacon over the top.
