Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x5 bread pan.Add the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom to a large bowl and mix to combine.In a medium size bowl, mash the banana. Add in the eggs, vanilla, sugar, maple syrup, and butter. Mix until well blended.Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.Pour into the greased bread pan and bake in the oven for 50-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
