A Canuck twist on Irish Cream

  • 1 1/8 cups heavy cream
  • 1 14 oz tin sweet milk
  • 2 3/4 cups gibson's finest canadian whisky 3 cups if you like an extra kick for java!
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules i use folgers classic roast
  • 35 grams maple flavoured hot chocolate i use gourmet village
  • 1/4 teaspoon gresh grated nutmeg use the finest grate of a box grater
  • 1 wee pinch fresh grated cinnamon bark no more than a half a teaspoon in total
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons pure canadian maple syrup warmed
  • 3 tablespoons pure organic maple sugar melt into the warmed maple syrup and let cool slightly
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure maple extract
  • 1 1/4 tablespoons quality chocolate syrup i make mine from scratch with dutch cocoa

In a blender combine all ingredients. Blend on high for somewheres in the where abouts of 30 seconds. Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator. Shake well before serving. Great with hot java topped with whipped cream, Pure Organic Canadian Maple sugar flakes & Snow Candy shards - this is called a "Canadian Joe."
